COLLEGE TERRACE

Kitchen/dining extension to Grade B2 listed building situated in the Magee Conservation Area. The dated and disjointed layout of the house wasn’t working for the homeowners and their growing family. Their brief was very clear with a need for some extra space and a family focused open plan living space. The resulting open plan kitchen/dining space flooded with light is a welcoming, modern addition to this historic property.  Consultation with the local Conservation Architect helped to bring this project to a successful outcome with a sensitive use of materials and a subtle hint of and respect to the historic fabric of the existing building.
